Appendix B Ion Chromatography
The channel for Ion Chromatography (IC) consists of a 6-port injection valve and a
10-port suppressor valve connected through a split cable and a conductivity module. The
10-port valve is mounted in the heater assembly drip tray. The conductivity module
connects to the System Unit through the detector cable (
).
Note:
Some IC applications require different hardware. Refer to the QuikChem method for
specific requirements.
Follow the instructions in
to add or remove an IC channel.
The 10-port valve and conductivity module are installed in the channel when it is received
from the manufacturer.
