4. geNerAl
Ergonomic fit and support, leveling and displacement to the
nearest millimeter of containers with manually operated spindle
supports in different variations. The sturdy square tube, which is
easy to mount, warrants several built-on and built-in options for
multi-purposes. The self-locking trapezoid spindle and the main-
tenance-free bevel gears enable easy and reliable operation.
5. DelIverY
1 leveling device set Type 2724.10 consists of:
– 4 spindle support legs (for 232888 with load trestles each)
– 4 ground plates (for 232888 without ground plates)
– 4 cranks
– 2 open end spanner (16 mm, 30 mm)
6. CoNsTrUCTIoN / FUNCTIoN
The trapezoid spindle is driven by the crank handle across one
spur bevel gearing. This spindle converts the rotation into a
longitudinal motion, due to the stationary nut. To protect from
mechanical damages, the spindle and gear parts are housed
in telescopic square tubes, which additionally provide a high
stability.
The large support plates means that the device can be used
anywhere in the open air where there is firm ground.
The spindle supports complies with DGUV-V 54 and the EC
Machine Directive 2006/42/EEC and subsequent directives.
7. MoUNTINg
The leveling device type 2724.10 has to be installed in the lower
ISO-corners at the longitudinal side of the container to be lifted.
There must be a special interface at about 785 mm over every
ISO-corner to fix the support legs twice. Please ensure that
the leveling device will only be push loaded (no pulling forces
allowed!).
Position the support leg (1) with its lower mounting (2) in the
bottom corner fitting (3) of the container. Connect the upper arm
(4) of the support leg form-conclusively with the container and
secure its position with the hexagon screws (5). Turn the locking
bolt (6) in the corner fitting (3) through 90°, pull it to the support
leg (1) and secure its position with the hexagon nut (7). On this
occasion, the direction of the locking pin (8) is identically with
the direction of the clamping surface of the locking bolt (6).
Before finally tightening the screws push the support leg
upwards as far as possible. The lower mounting must
touch the corner fitting of the container with its upper
surface.

The disassembly of the support leg (1) must be done in reverse
order.
Before untightening the screws ensure that there is no
load on the support leg.
