Warning:
Locate the emergency power-off switch in the room where you are
working before powering on the VG. Then, if an electrical accident
occurs, you can quickly shut the power OFF.
II. Powering on the VG
As no power switch is available for the VG, you can power on your
VG simply by turning on the switch controlling the power source after
finishing the power cord connection.
III. Checking/Operating after power-on
After powering on the VG, check that:
z
The LEDs on the front panel of the VG are displaying
normally.
z
The console terminal display is correct.
In the console terminal, you can see the startup interface after the
VG is powered on (please see section4.1.3 Startup Process” in this
manual). After the Power-On Self-Test (POST), press <Enter> as
prompted. When “[VG]” is displayed, you can proceed to configure the
VG.
