Installing a DC power supply 

1.

 

Remove the air filter frame of the power supply, and gently pull the DC power supply handle out. 

2.

 

Holding the handle of the power supply with one hand and supporting the bottom of the power 
supply with the other hand, insert the power supply slowly along the slide rails until it makes close 

contact with the backplane, as shown in 

Figure 30

.  

3.

 

Fasten the mounting screws on the power supply panel with a Phillips screwdriver. 

4.

 

Cover the power supply with the removed air filter frame.

Installing an AC power supply 

This section describes how to install an NEPS3500-A AC power frame and a sub power supply. 

Installing an NEPS3500-A AC power frame 

1.

 

Insert the power frame slowly along the slide rails until it makes close contact with the backplane 
of the chassis.  

2.

 

Fasten the mounting screws on the power frame panel with a Phillips screwdriver.
