If you have ordered air filters, H3C recommends that you install the air filters before mounting the switch 

to the rack.

Installing an air filter on an S9508E-V 

The front and rear air filters are installed in the same way. 
To install an air filter on an S9508E-V: 

1.

 

Loosen the captive screws on the ventilation panel to remove it. 

2.

 

Unpack the air filter and attach it to where the ventilation panel was located, and then fasten the 
captive screws on the air filter.
