Note:
BOT= Beginning of Tape; EOT= End of Tape
The Time Date Search submenu lets you search for an event by date and time. Enter the
time (hour/minute/second) and date (month/day/year) of the event you want to find.
After you have entered the time and date, set Start Search to “Yes”. Press the PROG.
button on the unit to begin the search.
The unit will determine the proper search direction, search to location, enter the PLAY
mode for a few moments, and finally enter the STILL mode when it has reached the
desired location.
Note:
The search is not complete until the unit enters the STILL mode.
Press the STOP button on the unit’s front panel to return to the Time Date Search
submenu and search for another time/date. Note: Prior to pressing the STOP button,
the VCR's normal functions (Play, Rewind, etc.) are available to the user for viewing the
tape.

The Transaction Number can be from four to nine digits, depending on the user setting
in the Encoding Options submenu.
The unit will search in the direction set in the Transaction Search submenu, search to
Transaction, enter the PLAY mode for a few moments, and finally enter the STILL mode
when it has reached the desired location.
You must specify the search direction, because the transaction numbers may not be in
numerical order.
Note: After the Start Search
command is set to “Yes” and
the PROG. button is pressed
to start the search, the Start
Search value will automatically
be reset to “No“.
