Wire Gauge Considerations
Background
Before connecting the output terminals to a
load, the wire gauge of the cables should be
considered. It is essential that the current
capacity of the load cables is adequate. The
rating of the cables must equal or exceed the
maximum current rated output of the
instrument.

The maximum temperature rise can only be 60
degrees above the ambient temperature. The
ambient temperature must be less than 30
degrees.
