Assembly and First Putting into Operation
Filter and Screen for Impurities
If the water contains sand, the pump shall be operated with
the filter for impurities (available as accessory) located on the
suction supply main of the pump. Should the sand penetrate
into the friction circle sealing (connecting shift – pump) the
sealing would be destroyed. If this occurs in the course of
guarantee term, it will be qualified as a fault caused by the
user and this case will be excluded from any provision of
guarantee.
Safety Instructions for First Putting into Operation
Caution: The pump shall never be operated
without water.
When using the pump (water equipment) the user is
responsible to third persons
The user may operate the pump only on connecting lines
furnished with the insufficient current switch (FI switch)!
Before putting into operation the authorized electrician should
check if there are required electric safety measures available.
The electric connection shall be performed by means of a
socket.
Voltage examination. Technical data on the label shall comply
with the electric network voltage.
If the pump is used for ponds, wells etc. and in corresponding
water equipments, the standards applicable in the countries where
the pump is used shall be unconditionally observed.
Electric pumps used outside (e.g. at the ponds etc.) shall be
furnished with rubber electric cable type H07RNF, according to
standard DIN 57282 or. DIN 57245.
When the pump is in operation, no people or animals are
allowed to stay or dive in the liquid being repumped (e.g.
in swimming pools, in cellars etc.).
The repumped liquid temperature shall not 35 °C.
Should extension cables be used, they shall be made
exclusively of rubber, type H07RNF, according to standard
DIN 57282 or DIN 57245. The pump connected to the
electric network shall never be touched by a cable, never
lifted by holding the cable or transport by means of a cable.
The connecting socket shall always be in necessary
distance from water and moisture and the plug shall be
protected against moisture.
Before putting the pump into operation check if the electric
cable and/or the socket are not damaged.
Before performance of any works on the pump the plug
shall be pulled out of the socket..
If the pump is built-in in a gully, the gully shall be covered
with cover to ensure the safety of people walking there.
The pump shall never be installed in moist shifts
(danger of shortcut, damage caused by corrosion)!
For avoiding or prevention of possible damage (as e.g.
flooding the rooms etc.) due to faulty pump operation
(e.g. due failure or defects) the owner (user) shall take
reasonable safety measures (installation of alarm
equipment, a spare pump etc.)
In case of failure on the pump,. the repair shall be
performed exclusively by an authorized service
repairshop.Only original spare parts may be used.
We have to draw your attention to the fact that
according to the valid standards we cannot take
responsibility for below mentioned cases of possible
damage caused by our devices:
Unproper repairs performed by unauthorized service repair
shops;
Using pump for a different purpose or failing to observe its
use according to the provisions;
Overloading of the pump by long-term operation;
Protection against Thermal Overloading
A sensor is built into the engine that automatically switches off
the pump if a certain temperature has been exceeded, and/or
it switches the pump on after it has been cooled. This
increases the service life of the pump quadruptly, and
prevents burning of the electric engine.
