2.3 Qualification Required of Personnel
Only properly trained and qualified persons may work on ADICOS equipment. Qualified per-
sons are those who have received relevant professional training, have the required skills and
experience and who are aware of applicable regulations, enabling them to work on electrical
equipment and detect potential hazards.
WARNING!
The improper performance of tests on ADICOS detectors can cause serious in-
jury and damage by fire or explosion.
• A release for hot work is absolutely necessary!
• Tests with the GTL-3 test device are only allowed by qualified personnel
2.4 Modification
WARNING!
Any form of unauthorized modification or expansion is expressly prohibited and
may result in serious injury or damage by fire or explosion.
• A modification of the GTL-3 is expressly prohibited!
2.5 Accessories and Spare Parts
WARNING!
The use of parts other than the manufacturer’s original spare parts and acces-
sories can cause serious injury and damage through fire or explosion.
• Only use original spare parts and original accessories.
