5.2 Insert smouldering sticks
GTL-3 smouldgering rods, which consits of pressed
worrd, are used to generate the required gases for
the detector test. A new smouldering rod should be
inserted before each operation to ensure that suf-
ficient combustible material material is available for
operation.

Open the device

Unscrew knurled nut

Dispose any residual combustibles material and
ashes safely and properly

Insert new smoke stick in the holder and fasten
with knurled nut

Carefully tighten the knurled nut to Smoulder

ing sticks cannot be damaged!

Close device

For this purpose, place the GTL-3 housing
straight on the lower part!
5.3 Charging the battery bar
Tips and recommendations
Before each use check the battery condition with aid of the charger.
• If necessary, recharge the batteries according to the manufacturer‘s in
