Malfunction / problem
A lengthy absence of reaction of the Receiver
to depressing of the buttons on the front
panel or remote control.
Absence of power supply of the Receiver.
Absence of picture.
Poor quality of picture.
Absence of sound.
Remote control would not work.
Absence of signal, of poor quality of signal.
Possible solution
Restart the Receiver (switch off and switch on power
supply anew).
Make sure the Receiver is not in Standby mode.
Check the power cord, make sure the same is connected
to suitable electric power mains.
Make sure the Receiver is switched ON (see above).
Check for correctness of connections between the
video output and the TV set.
Check for the level of brightness of the TV.
See above, «Absence of picture».
Restart the Receiver (switch off and switch on power
supply anew).
Check the signal level: if low, then check connection
between the aerial and the Receiver.
See above, «Absence of picture».
Check the volume of sound of the Receiver and the TV
set.
Check the status of MUTE mode (temporary switching-
off of the sound) on the Receiver and the TV set.
Direct the remote control strictly onto the Receiver.
Check and replace the batteries.
Restart the Receiver (switch off and switch on power
supply anew).
Check the coaxial cable connected to the Receiver.
