Orbital position
To enter the required orbital position, it would be necessary to depress the
OK [24]
button. Using the
NUMERICAL buttons 0 ~ 9 [5]
enter the required position of the satellite in the format of
xxx.x

Select the directions:
“W”
or
“E”.
Depress the
GREEN button [10]
.
Transponder
This item contains the list of transponders of the selected satellite. Each transponder has such parameters
like: frequency, polarisation, rate of stream, FEC, modulation type.
In order to enable editing of the list of transponders or parameters thereof, it would be necessary to switch
to
Expert
mode in the Menu:
Setup – System settings – Other settings – Mode of settings – Expert
.
Frequency
Enter frequency of the transponder in the format of
xxxxx
. The frequency shall be within the range of
03400-04200 MHz or 10700-12750 MHz
.
Polarization
Select the type of polarization:
vertical, horizontal, left, right
.
Modulation
Select the type of modulation (DVB-S QPSK, DVB-S2 QPSK, DVB-S2 8PSK).
Symbol Rate
Select the required rate of stream. It is possible to enter an arbitrary value of the rate with the help of the
NUMERICAL buttons 0 ~ 9 [5]
in the format of
xxxxx
.
FEC
Select the parameter of forward error correction.
To enter the frequency of 10719 MHz, enter 10719, to enter the frequency of 3675 MHz, enter 03675.
To enter the rate of stream, of for example 2500, enter 02500.
To enter orbital position 125.6, enter 1256. To enter orbital position 19.2, enter 0192.
