To direct the aerial towards a satellite:
Select the satellite to which the motorised
•
system is required to be adjusted;
Select the transponder. The scales of level and
•
quality of signal from that transponder will be
displayed in the bottom part of the screen;
Set the latitude and longitude of the location of
•
the motorised system.
To do that:
Depress the
•
OK [24]
button;
Enter the value using the
•
NUMERICAL buttons
0 ~ 9 [5]
in the format of xxx.x;
Depress the
•
GREEN button [10]
, to save the entered value, or
EXIT [23]
button, to cancel the
changes.
Depress the
•
Go
to button. The aerial would start positioning towards the satellite. A message would
be displayed on the screen, about the beginning of motion of the aerial;
On completion of motion of the aerial, the scales of level and quality of signal should indicate some
•
values. In case if upon completion of motion of the aerial the scales of level and quality of signal indicate
zero values, try to select another transponder;
To stop the motion of the motorised system, depress the
•
RED button [11]
(
Stop
command);
Depress the
•
YELLOW button [22]
to move the aerial into the zero position (
Go to position 0
command).
The centre of the range of rotation of the motorised system is accepted as the zero position.
The menu
Satellite Setup
enables to select the
required satellite from the list, add a new one,
delete, and change both the name of satellite
and the information about its orbital position.
This menu also enables to change parameters of
transponders, or add new transponders.
Satellite Name
Satellite Name are listed alphabetically. In the list,
names in Latin are presented first, then names in
other languages.
If the required satellite is not available in the list,
select the item of
New
(the last line in the list of
satellites), and depress the
YELLOW button [22]
.
New Satellite
would be added in the list of satellites.
To change the name of that satellite, depress the
BLUE button [21]
. Using the keyboard, enter the required
name. Name of any satellite can also be changed in that way.
