SAFETY_______________________________

Please note the following instructions

when using the appliance:

7

The appliance is designed for do-

mestic use only.

7

Never use the appliance in the

bath, shower or over a wash

basin filled with water; nor should

it be operated with wet hands.

7

Do not immerse the appliance in

water or let it come into contact

with water, even during cleaning.

7

If the appliance is used in the

bathroom, it is essential that you

unplug it after use, as any water

close to the appliance can still

pose a hazard, even if the appli-

ance is switched off.

7

If not already in use, installing

a residual current-operated

protective device (RCD) is

recommended for additional

protection with a rated residual

operating current not exceed-

ing 30 mA in the electrical cir-

cuit of your bathroom. Ask your

plumber for advice.

7

 Never cover the appliance, for

example with a towel.

7

 The appliance can become

very hot. Never leave your hair

between the ceramic plates for

more than a few seconds.

7

The outer surface of the appli-

ance may get hot when used

for long periods. In this case do

not touch with your hands and

allow it to cool.

7

Do not allow the hot styling

plates to come into contact with

your face, neck or head.

7

 Unplug the appliance after use.

Do not disconnect the plug by

pulling on the cord. Place the

appliance on a heat resistant

surface and allow it to cool.

7

Never use the appliance if it or

the power cord is visibly dam-

aged.

7

If the power cord is damaged,

it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, a service centre

or a similarly qualified person

to avoid any danger of electri-

cal shock.

7

Keep the appliance out of the

reach of children.
