SOUND PLAYBACK

Your recorder has two different systems for recording and playing back the
sound.
– The hifi (helical) track for stereo and two-channel sound recordings.
– The mono (longitudinal) track for sound playback on standard VHS video
recorders and for audio dubbing.
Hifi sound playback
Connection
Connect the audio output sockets »

« on the back of the recor-
der with the corresponding sound input sockets on the hifi or surround sound
system using a commercially available Cinch cable.
Control

Switch the hifi or surround sound system on.

Insert a recorded cassette into the recorder.

Start sound playback with the »

Note:
When playing back longplay recordings, the recorder switches automatically
in longplay mode.
Selecting the sound track
When playing back cassettes which have been recorded with stereo or two-
channel sound broadcasts, it is possible to select the desired sound track with the

Improving the sound quality
When playing back cassettes recorded on another recorder, it may be necessary
to optimize the sound quality
