INSTALLATION OF THE MAIN UNIT

Installation underneath the rear shelf

Attach double-sided scotch tape between main unit and angle bracket with 2 screws (M5 x 8)
each.

Determine location for installation and mark installation holes.

Drill installation holes.

Stick insulating material onto the top side of the main unit.
Note:
Use the supplied cable clamps to avoid rattling noises of the cable.
Horizontal installation at the vehicle floor or in the luggage boot

Attach the holders with the four hexagon head screws (M5 x 8) to the main unit.

Determine the installation location for the device and pull back the carpet.

Stick the bottom side of the holders to the vehicle floor with the double-sided scotch tape.

Drill installation holes.

Screw down main unit.
GENERAL NOTES

If the vehicle is equipped at the factory with a telephone system which mutes the radio, the free
contact (black/gray) must be plugged into the corresponding section of the cable harness. If the
radio is muted by a retrofitted hands-free set, the free contact must be connected with the mute out-
put of the telephone system.
All indications apply to vehicles with ISO plug ex works since 1995 models.
