INSTALLATION OF THE GPS AERIAL

Installation of the GPS aerial
The aerial is delivered with the following accessories:
– aerial,
– cable holder,
– self adhesive metal plate
Install the aerial in a way that the view of the sky is as unimpeded as possible.
The supplied aerial has a magnetic base for easy installation on metal parts of the car body.
Suggestions on where to mount the aerial
If the aerial is mounted to the outside, the aerial cable should run to the inside of the car at the short-
est possible distance.
The aerial should not be mounted directly to movable parts (boot lid or rear flap) to avoid frequent
movement of the cable.
For installing the aerial, the following options are available (see illustrations):

On the dashboard (Using the self-adhesive metal base)

On the rear shelf (Using the self-adhesive metal plate)
In this case make sure that the aerial is not covered (e.g. by pieces of clothing, rear window
eater; also, fogged windows can impair reception).

Near the boot lid

On the roof near the rear flap (recommended)
