14. Service
Contact Grundfos or an authorised service workshop if you
cannot remedy faults yourself. Please provide an exact
description of the problem so that our service technician can
prepare and provide the appropriate spare parts.
The technical data can be found on the pump nameplate.
In case of petrol or diesel engine faults occurring after expiration
of the warranty period, we recommend that you send the engine
to the nearest service centre of the engine supplier. See the
operating instructions for the engine.
14.1 Spare parts
A complete list of spare parts is available in the service kit
catalogue. See www.grundfos.com.
The installation and/or usage of such products may in certain
cases change and impair the properties of the pump.
Grundfos cannot be held liable for any damage caused by the
use of non-original spare parts.
14.2 Contaminated pumps
If a pump has been used for a liquid which is injurious to health or
toxic, it will be classified as contaminated. If Grundfos is
requested to service the pump, Grundfos must be contacted with
details about the pumped liquid, etc. before the pump is returned
for service. Otherwise Grundfos can refuse to accept to service
the pump.
Grundfos products and their parts will only be inspected/repaired
if the safety declaration has been correctly and completely filled
out by authorised and qualified staff. However, we still reserve the
right to refuse to accept a request for other reasons.
15. Disposal
This product or parts of it must be disposed of in an
environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest Grundfos company
or service workshop.

Observe local regulations for safety, health and
environment.
Note
Please state these pieces of information if you
request service:
• Pump number and type designation (punched on
the nameplate) or the order number.
• Product number and type of spare part
(see sectional drawings of the pumps and tables
of spare parts).
• Desired method of shipment (freight, express or
mail).
The shipping costs will be charged to the sender.
Note
Spare parts and accessories not supplied by
Grundfos are not tested or certified by Grundfos.
Caution
Pumps that have been used for radioactive liquids
will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Note
The safety declaration must be included with the
service request.
