8.3 Installation altitude
Installation altitude is the height above sea level of
the installation site.
Motors installed up to 1000 m above sea level can
be loaded 100 %.
The motors can be installed up to 3500 m above sea
level.
Fig. 10
Motor output power in relation to altitude
In order to maintain the galvanic isolation and ensure
correct clearance according to EN 60664-1:2007,
you must adapt the supply voltage to the altitude:

relation to altitude
8.4 Humidity
Maximum humidity: 95 %.
If the humidity is constantly high and above 85 %,
open the drain holes in the drive-end flange. See
section
8.5 Motor cooling
To ensure cooling of motor and electronics, observe
the following:
•
Position the motor in such a way that adequate
cooling is ensured. See section
•
The temperature of the cooling air must not
exceed 50 °C.
•
Keep cooling fins and fan blades clean.
9. User interfaces
You can make the pump settings by means of the
following user interfaces:
Operating panels
•
Basic operating panel.
See section
Remote controls
•
Grundfos GO Remote.
See section
If the power supply to the pump is switched off, the
settings are stored.
Motors installed more than 1000 m above
sea level must not be fully loaded due to
the low density and consequent low
cooling effect of the air.
