Attention
: Danger of water damage! Damaged or worn hose connec-
tions may tear. Therefore, check and replace flexible connection hos-
es, if necessary.
Check whether the turbine water meter releases pulses
Check the cable for defects
Grease the regeneration disc pair
Replace the seals in the regeneration housing
Clean injector and injector sieve
Clean the brine valve
Clean the carbon electrodes and replace, if necessary
Clean the brine tank
Complete the system
Check the tightness of the control unit in operating position (rins-
ing water and brine hose)
Release a manual regeneration
Observe chlorine bubbles in the brine hose (in the step “salting”)
Read the regeneration counter and total soft water volume.
Reset maintenance interval, if activated.
Enter all data and work performed, including repair work, in the
operation log.
Turn the system and the filled-in operation log over to the operator.
4.1 Operation log
You will find the operation log in chapter H, paragraph 5. At start-up of
the water softener, make sure to enter all data on the cover sheet of
the operation log and to fill in the first column of the checklist.
The service technician of Grünbeck’s technical customer ser-
vice/authorised service company will fill in another column of the
checklist whenever further maintenance is carried out. This document
provides evidence of proper maintenance.
