10.2 Tube lengths
Generally it is recommended to install LUB-V as close as possible to the consumer (lubri-
cation point). Ideally, this should be done directly at or on the lubrication point. In cases
where this is not possible due to the installation space or for reasons of reachability or
accessibility, tubes can also be used between LUB-V and the lubrication point (or distri-
butor).
The tube length shall not exceed 5 meters, the inner tube diameter shall not be lower
than 4 mm. The maximum tube length depends on a wide range of parameters such as
temperature, application and viscosity of the lubricant used.
10.1 Lubricants
Only use lubricants approved by the manufacturer Gruetzner GmbH in the original
cartridges developed and manufactured exclusively for LUB-V.
NOTICE
The lubricant used in each case differs according to the appli

cation. The respective designation can be found on the label of
the cartridge.
