Configure a Door
The Door option allows you to add and delete doors, as well as setting all attributes for
a door. To add a door, select the doors option from the menu and press the + button
Under the Basic tab the following can be set
Description
Enter the doors description
Unlock on Time Schedule
This is only to be used if you want the
controller to open and close the door
at certain times, if not please leave
blank
Address
The address of the door on the
controller. This is in the format: blade
– bus – position on blade. Bus is
always 0 for any Wiegand readers,
inputs, outputs, doors etc. and is
always 1 for OSDP readers. So a
door in position 2 on a door blade in
controller slot 4 would be addressed
as 402
Sensor Type
Select if you have a door contact,
also choose the relock mode and
if you wish to monitor the door for
forced entry
Lock Type
Select if the lock is EnergiseToLock
(Fail Safe) or EnergiseToUnlock (Fail
Secure), choose if you wish to use
the AUX output for the lock, which will
use the same output address as the
door
Breakglass
Choose if you are monitoring the
breakglass or not
Switch Type
Choose if you are using a request to
exit button or not
Under the
Advanced tab
you can set the door and sounder periods as required.
Under the
Readers tab
you must tie the correct entry and exit readers to the door.
