7.
Let the pump work and observe the liquid coming out of the drain tube. Let the liquid flow
until the liquid coming out of the tube is an entirely clear rinsing liquid. The gun and the hose
also need rinsing when the colour of used paint is changed or when switching from one sub-
stance type to another.
8.
After tip and tip shell are removed, aim the gun into the waste bucket and unlock the trigger.
CAUTION:
Electrostatic spark, fire or explosion risk. Place the metal part of the gun close to the wall
of the metal vessel. All solvent vessels must be made of conductive metal and must be properly earthed.
Do not place on insulating surfaces unless there is an additional ground cord next to them such as
metal water-main pipe.
9.
Close the drain valve.
10.
Let the pump work and observe the liquid coming out of the gun. Do not release the trigger.
Let the liquid flow until it is entirely clear.
11.
Switch off the device and set the pressure regulation toggle to minimum by turning it anti-
clockwise. The pump is now clean and ready for being filled with substance.
12.
Open the drain valve.
13.
Switch on the device and let the substance circulate. Observe the substance to make sure it
does not contain any air bubbles.
14.
Close the drain valve and perform hose and gun venting.
15.
Switch off the device and lock the trigger. The drain tube can now be reconnected to the suc-
tion tube in the bucket containing the substance.
After the substance filling procedure is done, the nozzle and shell can be placed on the gun.
