2.
Avoid unintentional startup. Before the device is plugged in, make sure the ON/OFF switch
is in OFF position. Placing a finger on the ON/OFF switch in transport or while plugging
in the machine increases the risk of accidents.
3.
Remove the adjusting key before you switch on the device. Key mounted to a rotating part
of a device can result in body injuries.
4.
Do not swing too much. Keep a stable posture while working as it will provide better control
over the power tool in case of unexpected situations.
5.
Wear proper clothing. Do not wear loose clothes or jewellery. Hair, clothes and gloves must be
kept away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can engage in and stuck
in the moving parts.
6.
If extraction and dust accumulating appliances have been provided, make sure they are con-
nected and used properly. The usage of such appliances can reduce dust-related risks.
MEDICAL ALARM
– Injuries caused by airless spraying
In case of penetration of liquid through the skin,
IMMEDIATELY CALL AN AMBULANCE. DO NOT
IGNORE IT.
High pressure liquids from the spraying device or leakages are powerful enough to penetrate through
skin and can lead to very severe injuries which can result in amputation.
ALWAYS
place the gun safety lock onto the “locked” position if not used, also before maintenance or
cleaning work.
NEVER
remove or alter any part of the gun.
ALWAYS
remove
THE NOZZLE
of the spraying device for cleaning. Rinse the device when it is
UNDER
THE LOWEST POSSIBLE PRESSURE
.
ALWAYS
check functionality of all safety accessories of the gun before each use. Be very careful while
removing the nozzle of the spraying device or hose from the gun. In the connected system there is
a liquid under pressure. If a nozzle or system is connected, make sure to perform the decompression
procedure.
ALWAYS
keep the nozzle protection on the gun while spraying. The nozzle protection warns about
danger and protects against accidental placing of fingers or any body part near the nozzle of the spray-
ing device.
Be extremely cautious while cleaning and exchanging the nozzle of the spraying device. If the nozzle
of the spraying device is clogged, immediately lock the gun.
ALWAYS
follow the
DECOMPRESSION
PROCEDURE
, after which remove the nozzle of the spraying device and clean it.
NEVER
wipe clean
the material accumulated around the nozzle.
Risk related to toxic liquids
ALWAYS
remove the nozzle protection and nozzle for cleaning after the pump is switched off
and the pressure is reduced by applying the
DECOMPRESSION PROCEDURE.
Dangerous liquids and toxic fumes can cause serious injuries or even death after contact with eyes or
skin or after they have been inhaled or swallowed. Make sure you are familiar with dangers regarding
the liquid you are using. Dangerous liquids must be stored and disposed of according to the manufac-
turer’s recommendations or designated by the local, regional or national authorities.
