PERSONAL PROTECTION MEASURES
When in the work area, apply appropriate protective measures to help prevent serious injury,
including eye injury, hearing loss, inhalation of toxic fumes and burns.
They include among others:
¾
Protective glasses
¾
Breathing apparatus, protective clothing and gloves as recommended by the manu-
facturer of fluids and solvents.
alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the power tool. Do
not use the power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or med-
ications. A moment of distraction when using the power tool may result in serious injuries.
1.
Use safety equipment. Always use safety glasses. Safety devices such as dust mask, non-skid
safety shoes, a helmet and ear protection if used properly will reduce personal injuries.
2.
Avoid accidental activation. Before connecting the device to make sure that the switch is in
the OFF position. Putting a finger on the switch at the time of transferring or connecting the
device with the switch in the ON position to the power supply increases the risk of accidents.
3.
Remove the regulating key before switching on. The key attached to the rotating part of the
tool may result in personal injury.
4.
Do not lean excessively. While working maintain a stable position. This ensures better control
of the power tool in the event of unexpected situations.
5.
Wear appropriate attire. Do not wear loose items of clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothes and
gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can catch on and get stuck
in moving parts.
6.
If devices extracting and collecting dust were delivered, make sure that they are connected and
used in the right way. Use of these devices can reduce the risk associated with dust.
MEDICAL ALARM
– Injuries caused by airless spray
If the fluid penetrates through the skin,
IMMEDIATELLY CALL THE AMBULANCE. DO NOT NEGLECT IT.
High pressure fluids from the spray device and leaks have sufficient power to penetrate the skin and
they may cause very serious damage, which can lead to potential amputation.
ALWAYS
place the safety catch to position “blocked” when not in use and before maintenance or
cleaning.
NEVER
delete or alter any part of the gun.
ALWAYS
remove
the NOZZLE
of the spray device when cleaning. Rinse the device
UNDER LOWEST
POSSIBLE PRESSURE.
ALWAYS
check operation of all gun safety devices before each use. Be very careful when removing the
nozzle of the spray device or the hose of the gun. In the powered system fluid is under pressure. If the
nozzle or the system are connected, apply the decompression procedure.
ALWAYS
keep the nozzle cover of the gun when spraying. The nozzle cover warns about dangers and
protects against putting fingers or any part of the body near the nozzle of the spray device accidentally.
Use extreme caution when cleaning and when replacing the nozzle of the spraying device. If the nozzle
of the spray device is clogged immediately block the gun.
ALWAYS
proceed in accordance with the
