DECOMPRESION PROCEDURE
.
Hazardous fluids or toxic fumes can cause serious injury or even death when splashed on the skin or
eyes, or if they are inhaled or ingested. You must know the dangers associated with the fluid, which is
used. Hazardous fluids must be stored and dispose of in a manner consistent with the guidelines pro-
vided by the manufacturer and designated at the local, regional and national level.
ALWAYS
use safety glasses, gloves, clothing and a respirator as recommended by the manufacturer
of fluid.
Hoses:
Tighten all connections with the fluid in a safe manner before each use. High pressure can break the
loose connection or cause that spray fluid will leak from the connection which may result in severe
injuries of the body.
Use only hoses protected with a spring. Spring protection helps to protect the hose from looping or
other damage that could result in hose rupture and damage associated with spraying. Do not allow
looping or wrinkling hoses or vibrations on rough, sharp or hot surfaces.
For hydrodynamic applications use only conductive hoses. Check whether the gun is grounded with
hose connections. Use only hydrodynamic high pressure hoses with static wires, which have been ap-
proved for 3,000 psi.
NEVER
use a damaged hose, which can cause damage or cracks in the hose and damage associated
with spraying or other serious injury or damage to property. Before each use, check the hose when it
comes to cuts, leaks, abrasions, bulging or damage or whether its connections are fastened correctly. In
such situations, immediately replace the hose.
NEVER
use tape or any device to repair the hose, as it will not withstand high pressure of the fluid.
NEVER
RECONNECT THE HOSE
.
When spraying and cleaning with flammable paints and thinners
1.
When spraying with flammable fluids, the device must be at least 6 meters away from the
spray area in a well-ventilated area. Ventilation should be sufficient to prevent accumulation
of fumes.
2.
To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground the spray device, the paint bucket and the spray ob-
ject. Use only hydrodynamic high-pressure hoses approved for 3,000 psi.
3.
Before rinsing remove the spray nozzle. Hold the metal part of the gun by the side of a metal
bucket and during rinsing use the lowest possible fluid pressure.
4.
Never apply high pressure when cleaning.
APPLY MINIMUM PRESSURE.
5.
Do not smoke in the spray area / cleaning area.
NEVER
use cleaning solvents with a flash point
below 60 degrees C. Some of them are: acetone, benzene, ether, gasoline, kerosene. In order
to make sure please contact your supplier.
