If there is a possibility to install equipment extracting and capturing dust, make sure that they are con-
nected and will
g.
be used properly. Use of dust collection devices can reduce dust-related hazards.
4. Proper operation and maintenance of power tools
a.
Do not overload the device. Use the power tool in accordance with its purpose. An appropri-
ately selected power tool is operated better and safer in a given scope of efficiency.
b.
Do not use the power tool if the on / off switch is damaged. Any power tool that cannot be
turned on or off is dangerous and must be repaired.
c.
Before adjustments, changing accessories, or after stopping work using the power tool, pull
the plug from the outlet and / or remove the battery. This precaution prevents inadvertent
switching on of the power tool.
d.
Store idle power tools out of reach of children. Do not share the tool with people who do
not know it or have not read these provisions. Power tools used by inexperienced people are
dangerous.
e.
Due maintenance of the power tool is necessary. Control whether moving parts are working
fine and are not blocked, if the parts are not cracked or damaged in such a way, which would
affect proper operation of the power tool. Damaged parts of the device must be repaired be-
fore use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f.
Power tools, accessories, auxiliary tools etc. should be used in accordance with these recom-
mendations. Simultaneously, conditions and the type of work should be taken into account.
Improper use of the power tool can lead to dangerous situations.
5. Maintenance
a.
Repair of the power tool should be carried out only by a qualified person using original spare
parts. This ensures that safety of the device is maintained.
Safety Instructions for airless sprayers
The following warnings apply to settings, use, grounding, maintenance and repair of the device. The
exclamation mark indicates a general warning, while the danger symbol indicates presence of risk as-
sociated with a given procedure. When these symbols appear in the content of the manual or on the
label, go back to these warnings. In the appropriate places in the content of this manual there may be
symbols of dangers and warnings related to a specific product, which are not described in this section.
HAZARD OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION
Located in the workspace flammable fumes from solvents and paints can ignite or explode.
To prevent the outbreak of fire or explosion:
1.
Avoid spraying flammable and combustible materials in the vicinity of open flames or sources
of ignition, cigarettes, outboards and electrical equipment.
2.
Paint or solution flowing through the equipment may cause appearance of static electricity.
Static electricity creates a risk of fire or explosion in the presence of paint or solvent fumes.
3.
Verify that all containers and bulk systems are grounded to prevent discharging of electrostatic
charges. Do not use lining of the bucket, if it does not have anti-static or conductive properties.
4.
Do not use paints and solvents containing halogenated hydrocarbons.
5.
Ensure good ventilation of the space in which spraying is performed. Maintain an adequate
flow of fresh air in the said space. Keep the pump module in a well ventilated place. Do not
spray the pump module.
6.
Do not smoke in the area.
