DECOMPRESION PROCEDURE
Every time you stop spraying, even for a short time, carry out the DECOMPRESION PROCEDURE.
IMPORTANT!
To avoid possible serious body injury, always apply this procedure every time when the
sprayer is switched off, when it goes through verification, installation, modification or cleaning of the
tips, when you add substance to be sprayed, and always when you stop spraying for any reason. Never
leave the device unattended if it remains under pressure.
1.
Turn the safety trigger of the gun.
2.
Turn off the device using the ON / OFF switch.
3.
Release the safety trigger of the gun and pull the trigger to get rid of the residual fluid pres-
sure. The metal part of the gun must be in contact with grounded metal bucket. Turn the safety
trigger of the gun again.
4.
Slowly turn the overflow valve to the open position (priming) to get rid of the residual fluid
pressure. Then, close the overflow valve.
WARNING:
If in the spray nozzle OR in the hose there is any congestion, you may expect splashes of
the spray substance into the bucket when opening the overflow valve. Therefore, the valve should be
opened very slowly, maintaining caution.
SPRAYING
Check the quality of the spray pattern on a scrap backing, such as e.g. a piece of cardboard. Turn the
pressure adjustment knob clockwise to increase pressure and counter clockwise to decrease pressure.
Start with low-pressure of the spraying fluid and slowly increase it until it reaches a suitable spray pattern.
If pressure is too low, the pattern will have massive, irregular, protruding fragments at the edges. Con-
tinue testing increasing pressure until the moment when the pattern is smooth and regular.
If the pressure is maximum, and yet the pattern still leaves much to be desired, use a tip with a smaller
opening or dilute the spraying substance.
CORRECT PAITING PATTERN
INCORRECT SPRAYING
The pressure control knob may be turned
up or down to achieve the desired spraying
pattern
