The Model G0850 dust collector uses a motor-
driven brush system to remove dust build-up and
debris from the filter pleats. The filter-cleaning
motors start automatically and run for 1 minute
after 8 hours of machine use, but you may also
operate the filter cleaning brush motors manually.
For a more thorough cleaning every few months
under heavy use, wash the filters by hand (see
Washing Canister Filters on Page 44).
Dispose of the filter bag when dust fills it about
1
⁄
2
full (see
Removing/Replacing Filter Bags on
Page 40).
IMPORTANT: To contain wood dust and minimize
risk of exposure, firmly tie bag closed.
To clean canister filters using motors:
1. Press Filter Brush Cleaning ON/OFF but-
ton to turn motors
ON for 1 minute (see
Figure 81).
2. To turn filter-cleaning motors OFF before 1
minute elapses, press Filter Brush Cleaning
ON/OFF button again (see
Figure 81).
The Model G0850 dust collector uses an RF
remote control to duplicate functions on the
control panel. If the remote loses its signal or is
replaced, pair the remote with the control panel.
To pair remote control with control panel:
1. Remove control panel cover and turn over to
expose circuit board.
2. Press and hold SAVE CODE button until
it beeps, then press and hold button D on
remote control (see
Figure 82).
