1. switch disabling lock installed.

4. Break or short in wiring; or loose connec-
tions.
5. power supply switched off/has incorrect
voltage.

7. Centrifugal switch at fault.
1. remove switch disabling lock.
2. lift stop paddle and fully depress stop button with
your finger.
3. Wire motor correctly (refer to inside junction box
cover or manual).
4. trace/replace broken or corroded wires; fix loose
connections.
5. switch power supply on/verify voltage.
6. test/replace if at fault.
7. adjust/replace centrifugal switch.
Machine has exces-
sive vibration or
noise.
1. slight blade wobble.
2. arbor nut is loose/obstructed by debris.
3. arbor pulley loose.
4. loose tilt handwheel.
5. Casting at fault.
6. Motor fan rubbing on fan cover.
7. Motor mounting loose.
8. Belt worn or damaged.
9. Belt(s) slapping cover.
10. pulley loose or not in alignment; shaft bent.
11. Machine incorrectly mounted on floor.
12. arbor bearings at fault.
13. Motor bearings worn or damaged.
1. use a blade stabilizer.
2. remove and clean, then tighten arbor nut.
3. retighten/replace arbor pulley with shaft and thread
locking liquid.
4. tighten the tilt handwheel lock knob.
5. trunnion/geared bearing housing is loose or cracked;
tighten or replace.
6. Fix/replace fan cover; replace loose or damaged
fan.
7. tighten mounting bolts/nuts; use thread locking
fluid.
8. replace belt (refer to
page 76).
9. tighten belt(s).
10. replace worn pulley, key, and shaft, and realign.
11.level/shim machine; tighten/adjust mounting hard-
ware or feet.
12. replace arbor housing bearings; replace arbor.
13. replace motor bearings or replace motor.
