5. slide the blade over the arbor
with the teeth
facing the front of the saw, as shown in
Figure 45
.
6. re-install the arbor flange and the arbor nut,
then tighten them against the blade with the
wrenches included with the saw, as shown in
Figure 30. do not overtighten.

7. reinstall the blade guard/riving knife and the
table insert.
Blade Installation
To install a new blade:
1. disConnECt saW FroM poWEr!
2. put on heavy leather gloves and raise the
arbor all the way up.
3. remove the table insert and blade guard/riv-
ing knife, depending on what is installed.
4. use the arbor wrenches to loosen and remove
the arbor nut, flange, and blade.
Note:
The
arbor nut has right hand threads; turn it coun-
terclockwise to loosen.
Before proceeding with the next step, wear
gloves to protect your hands while handling
and installing the blade.

pre-installed.
