Oil Supply
Check the oil level in the tank every day prior to start-up.
It is good practice to constantly check the oil level gauge as a ruptured oil hose
may empty the tank in a few minutes.
A pump or motor that runs out of oil will be damaged beyond repair.
Change the oil if it appears contaminated (discolored).
Oil replenishment precautions:
- Carefully clean the area around the filler neck before removal.
- Use a clean container when refilling the system.
- Check the filter system regularly.
- Never allow the oil level to fall below the liquid indicator.
Check daily that the hydraulic connections and fittings are in good condition.
Immediately correct any and all defects or leaks. It is a part of the day-to-day
maintenance that will reduce the expenses and extend the service life of the
machine.
Use two single-head wrenches for tightening fittings. Avoid excessive tightening.
Change any and all fittings that keep leaking.
