Storage and moving the machine
CAUTION!
Danger of cutting injuries from sharp knife sections!
During storage and transport of the hedge trimmer there is a danger
of cutting injuries from sharp knife sections.

Make sure that the knife guard is mounted
Storage

Check that the Blade Guard and safety guard are mounted.
►
Put the hedge trimmer aside in a dry and clean place.
►
Make sure that the hydraulic system is not contaminated. Close off
the hydraulic engine’s connections and the hydraulic hoses with the
caps.
►
Ensure there is no risk of the hedge trimmer overturning or falling
during storage. Secure the hedge trimmer by using a suitable rest
or support.
►
Place all hydraulic hoses over the top of the hedge trimmer, so there
is no risk of anyone stumbling/tripping over them.
►
Clean the hedge trimmer thoroughly before storage. Dirt attracts
moisture resulting in an increased build-up of rust.
►
Repair any damage to lacquer.
►
Lubricate all lubrication points in accordance with the directions on
the lubrication plate after cleaning.
►
Apply rust-protection oil to the whole machine, in particular fingers
and cutterbar, to avoid the formation of rust on the blade.
Driving during transport
If the hedge trimmer is mounted on the carrier vehicle or implement carrier, observe
the following instructions for transport.

Make sure that the knife guard is mounted.
►
Check that the hydraulic engine’s connections and the hydraulic
hoses are closed off with the caps.
►
Secure loosely hanging hydraulic hoses so that there is no risk of
anyone stumbling/tripping or getting caught up in them.
►
The hedge trimmer must be secured so that there is no risk to other
road users when in use.
Instruktion
To prevent damage and to facilitate loading and unloading, transport
on euro pallets or expendable pallets is recommended.
