LiveTouch Setup on the Desktop Client
Configuring Playout Ports Using the Desktop
This identifies the current user as the ports are locked to that user, once assigned.
2 Press the
Server Config
box.
This displays the server channel selection menu, arranged by Zone, Servers and
Channel:
LiveTouch displays server channels that are available for selection in light gray with a
checkbox to the right of the channel ID. Any server channels under the control of
another owner are dark gray and the checkbox is not available.
Server channels already owned by the current user (as determined by the user ID) have
a green background and the corresponding checkbox is selected by default.
3 Select the checkboxes for the required playout channels.
4 Define port identification colors for each of the channels, by pressing on the color pot
on a channel row.
When the color palette opens, press the required color to select it.
5 Press the
Open Ports
box.
The server channel selection menu closes and the Port windows open along the top of
the Desktop screen - one for each port selected, see the section
Note:
You must enter a Port Owner ID before taking control of server
playout channels.
