Maintenance

• Check frequently the fresh water filter 

F

 positioned before the

pump.

• Check periodically for leaks through the whole length of the

system paying special attention to the condition of the gaskets, the
connections and the fittings.
- Generally speaking a clear symptom of a leak is an intermittent

start of the water pump when all the faucets are shut off.

- In this case you should proceed to a localized inspection,  open

one sector of the system  at a time to spot out the leak in an easier
way.

• Check periodically (especially when you haul out the boat) the

state of the seacocks and gate valves, paying special attention to
the state of their bronze components. If they should show weare
and corrosion, change them immediately.
