5.11 Using the HI-Z inputs
Channels 1 and 2 can be used as high impedance instrument inputs, for plugging an instrument or line
level source directly into the front panel. These 1/4” inputs sense if a cable is plugged in and will auto-
matically activate the HI-Z input. When active, the channel display on the OLED screen will show a 1/4”
plug icon. This input has 10M Ohm input impedance.

Using the m108 Mixer
The m108 mixer is used to mix and monitor the 8 mic preamp channels as well as 2 incoming auxiliary
channels from the USB interface or an installed option module. Monitoring the mixer output is done
with the headphone output or the optional stereo CR (control room) output module.
To enter the m108 mixer, press and hold the VOL / MUTE (mix) encoder knob. The mixer screen will ap-
pear. This screen has 3 pages which automatically change as the cursor travels across them from side to
side. They are:
1. mixer channels 1-4
2. mixer channels 5-8
3. monitor channel, master, monitor source select, and headphone source select
6.1 To adjust the level of a mixer channel:
1. Use the EDIT knob to select a channel.
2. Press the EDIT knob to enter level adjust mode, which will be indicated by the numerical level
display becoming outlined and the channel name / number becoming brighter.
3. Turning the EDIT knob to adjust the mixer channel level, from 0dB to OFF.
4. Press the EDIT knob again to exit level adjust mode.
