• Take the three Cone Thread Holders and

place them on either the back right or the

left side.

• You will then put the carriage bolt

through the Cone Thread Holders and your

Top Carriage, where you will put a washer

and then a plastic knob on to hold the Cone

Thread

Step 20: Cone Thread Holder Assembly

Parts Needed: 1- Top Carriage (with handles & braces)

3- Cone Thread Holders

1- 1/4” X 3” Carriage Bolt

1- 1/4” Flat Washer

1- 1/4” Plastic Knob

OPTION #2

If using your foot pedal to power your

sewing machine, install the regular foot

pedal platform according to the original

text of the instruction booklet.

OPTION #1

THINNER PLATFORM: If using a speed control

mechanism to power you machine (as opposed to the

machine’s foot pedal), install the new, thinner platform

shown below:

NOTE: This is a new

item not listed in the

parts list. It is installed

using the same hardware

and same procedure as

the regular foot pedal

platform.

• Stand your Top Carriage up

so you can see the top of your

Handles.

• Attach the Pedal Platform

with connector bolts and

rectagle nuts as illustrated.

• Attach the Front Handle

Cross Brace in the same

manner as you did the Pedal

Platform.

Step 19: Cross Brace Assembly

Parts Needed: 1- Top Carriage (with handles)

1- Front Handle Cross Brace

1- *Pedal Platform

1- *Thinner Platform

4- 1/4” X 45 mm Connector Bolt

4- 1/4” Rectange Nuts (threaded)
