11.5.3 Replacing Bulbs at the External Signal Lamps

!

Attention!

Before replacing bulbs at the external signal lamps: 
–  Disconnect the external signal lamps from the

terminals (3) at the high-voltage module

or

 

– Disconnect the high-voltage module from the mains 

and from the measuring circuit

➭

Unscrew the red or the green cap by turning counterclockwise.

➭

Remove the defective bulb from the bayonet fixture and install 
a new bulb: 12 to 15V / 2W with BA9s base, e.g. OSRAM 
Miniwatt T10 no. 3453B.

➭

Replace the cap and tighten by turning clockwise.

Software

Device software for the test instrument can be updated via the 
RS 232 interface with the help of a PC with a CD-ROM drive, and 
an interface cable. 
The software update is loaded to the flash EPROM at the 

PROFITEST 204+

 basic instrument.

The file containing the desired software version can be uploaded 
to the test instrument via the serial interface with the help of the 
update function included with WinProfi software. The previously 
installed software is overwritten.
