1. CLOCK
You can adjust the current time. Press the
VOL + button set the hour, and the VOL -
button set the minute.
2. TIMING
If this is set to TIMING ON, TV ON and TV
OFF time can be set.
3. TV ON
Set the time for the TV set to turn on.
4. TV OFF
Set the time for the TV set to turn off.
5. AWAKE and AWTIME FUNCTION Please
note that the AWTIME feature does not
opearte on this model
TIMER FUNCTION
Timer Function when set will automatically
turn on the selected source (TV/Tape/Radio)
for the programmed time and then
automatically turn off. It may be used to wake
you in the morning.
IMPORTANT :
Make sure that you first set
the current current clock time as described
in CLOCK
1. Press AV button to select TV mode.
2. Press Menu button 4 times. Using the
PROG - & + buttons highlight “TIMING”
and press the VOL + or - button on the
remote to select ON.
3. Press the PROG +/- button and highlight
“TVON” and using the VOL + or - buttons
on the remote adjust the hours and
minutes until the ON time is obtained (the
time it wakes you).
4. Press the PROG +/- button and highlight
“TVOFF” and using the VOL + or - buttons
on the remote to adjust the hour / minute
to turn off.
5. Press the MENU button to store the
settings.
6. Before switching the set to its standby /
off mode select which function (TV/
RADIO/TAPE) will wake you in the
morning. Adjust the volume level which
will be used to wake you in the morning.
7. Press the Power / standby button to turn
off the unit.
At the programmed time the function selected
will operate and will automatically switch off
at the programmed time.
NOTE :
1. Once set, the Timer function will operate
every 24 hours.
2. To switch off the Timer simply press the
MENU button 4 times highlight “TIMING
ON” and press the VOL +/- button on the
remote until OFF shows on the display.
Press the Menu button to store this
change.
3. If the OFF time is not set then the system
will remain powered up!
SELECTING A PROGRAMME
Use 0~9 digit buttons to select directly the
programme number required. If you want to
select a double digit programme number, first
press “-/--” button, then input the two digits.
Programme number can also be changed by
“PROGRAM DOWN” and “PROGRAM UP”
buttons. Press “PROGRAM UP” button,
programme number will increase. Press
“PROGRAM DOWN” button, programme
number will decrease.
CHILD LOCKED
The TV set can be locked for control or to
prevent children from watching programmes.
SET CHILD LOCK:
Press the ”LOCK” button on remote unit. The
key locked (
) is shown on the screen.
Then the symbol will disappear after five
seconds and the set enters locked mode. You
can’t use any key on the TV set.
RELEASE CHILD LOCK:
You can cancel this mode by pressing the
“LOCK” button again on remote control.
