7. ASM - AUTO SEARCH METHOD
Press VOL +/- Bottons then the TV set
will automatically search from V-L band
to U band. Details please refer to Tuning
Setup Guide.
Tuning Setup Guide
The following procedure should be used
for initial set up of the TV station
(Programme) Memory.
Upto 99 stations can be preset into memory
for easy recall as follows
Note :
All operations to be carried out using
the buttons on the remote control.
1. Connect the TV to the household 230VAC
supply via the 3 pin plug
2. Connect an external or set top aerial to
the 75-Ohm Aerial socket on the rear of
the TV.
3. Press the Power and the Standby buttons
to switch the set ON
4. Press the MODE or AV button until the
TV function indicator is illuminated.
5. Press MENU button on the remote
control and the Preset Menu will display
on the TV screen.
6. Press the PROG +/- buttons to navigate
the menu to select ASM
7. Press VOL + to start the AutoTune
process
8. The Display will show bars advancing
across the screen beneath the ASM
caption left to right as tuning progresses.
9. Each time a signal of sufficient strength
is located the scanning will pause and the
station will be stored in order of reception.
10. Once completed the first station tuned to
will be shown on the screen.
11. To re-order the channel numbers please
refer to the SEARCH tuning instruction
above.

You can select BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST,
COLOUR, SHARPNESS, and TINT features
by using the PROG. +/- Buttons, and then
adjust using VOL. +/- Buttons
* TINT is displayed only for NTSC and is
not available for PAL or SECAM.
