Getting Started
Read through this instruction manual.
Unpack the unit.
Load batteries into the remote control.
Connect the unit to the TV (and amplifier if required) make sure the connections are correct following
instructions on pages 6-9.
Connect to the mains supply, turn on the power switch on the rear of the player.
Check the settings of the player, TV and amplifier (if connected) are correct (check with relevant instruction
manual).
1. PLAY A DISC
•
Please note this player has two power switches. Ensure the power switch on the rear of the player is in
the ON position then press the POWER STANDBY button on the front of the player or the POWER
button on the remote
•
Press the “OPEN/CLOSE” button
on the front panel or remote control, to open the disc tray. Load a
disc into the tray (with the DVD printed side uppermost) and press the “OPEN/CLOSE” button
to close the disc tray.
•
The unit will take several seconds to read the disc data, the disc type will be displayed in the top left
corner of the TV screen, and playback will commence automatically.
(Please Note: MP3 discs may take longer to read when loading)
•
On some DVD discs a menu will be shown please use one of the following methods to proceed
1.
Press the play
►
button to start playback, or
2. Use
the
navigation
keys on the remote control to highlight the required item then press
the ENTER button to confirm.
•
Please note that any menu displayed is dependent on the DVD disc being played.
2. STOP
•
Press the stop
J
button once, “PRESS PLAY TO CONTINUE” appears on the screen. If the
play button is pressed, playback will resume from the stopped point.
•
Press the stop
J
button twice, “STOP” will be shown on the screen. If the play button is
pressed, playback will resume from the beginning.
