4. CONNECTING TO 5.1 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER (with Dolby Digital Decoder)

Connect the player to the TV using the supplied SCART cable as shown below.

Connect the digital output (optical or coaxial leads/cables not supplied) from the player to the amplifier with

DOLBY DIGITAL decoder.

For most Dolby Digital Amplifiers the AUDIO SPDIF OUTPUT should be set to SPDIF/RAW. Please double

check with the Amplifier’s instruction manual to find the correct setting. Press the SETUP button on the
remote control to display the player’s SETUP MENU:

(up/down navigation keys) on the remote control to highlight AUDIO SETUP then press

ENTER

Press

(up/down navigation keys) on the remote control to highlight SPDIF OUTOUT then press

(right navigation key)

Press
