Getting Started
Once you have installed batteries or connected a power adapter and inserted a SD card into the camera, you are
ready to use the camera.
Turning the Camera On/Off
You can turn camera on or off by sliding the power switch towards the arrow direction.
Turning the Camera On
Make sure that the SD card is correctly
loaded.
Slide the POWER switch to ON position, to
turn on the power.
When the camera is turned on, set the dial
knob to the desired mode.
In the photography modes (
,
or
),the lens
extends from the camera body.
When the camera is turned ON, the Auto Power
OFF function starts to work.
Slide the POWER switch to OFF position, to turn off the power.
The power is turned off, and the lens returns to its original position in the body.
Close the lens by sliding the lens cover switch to close position .
Note:
If "LENS COVER" message popped out and the ready LED flashes (red) rapidly, please check the lens cover
switch. Slide the lens cover switch towards to open the lens cover, and the camera will operate normally.
Turning the Camera Off
Slide the lens cover switch toward open direction .
