Compressing Image
This function compress images down to half of their size or more, and
overwrites an old size image with a newly compressed image. But BASIC
quality images and movies and protected images cannot be compressed.
After pressing button, while the QUALITY is highlighted, quality set
menu is displayed. A user can select the image by or button, and
press ENTER button to set the compression ratio. Each press of ENTER
button changes the compression ratio. By pressing the zoom key towards T
during image selection, the image is displayed to fit the entire screen. To
redisplay the original image, a user presses the zoom key towards W.
By pressing or button, select EXECUTE and press ENTER button to set compression. Then the screen
indicating that the image is being compressed appears. When compression end, the screen returns to
PLAYBACK MENU.
Note:
*It is possible to compress an image and decrease quality. It is not possible to uncompress an image to
increase quality, or to restore an image after it has been compressed.
Protected
This feature prevents images from being erased.
After pressing the ENTER button while the PROTECT is highlighted,
LCD monitor shows protect menu.
After pressing ENTER button, the one image displayed on the LCD
monitor is locked indicated by
icon.To unprotect that image,press ENTER
button once again.
By pressing ENTER button while EXECUTE is highlighted, image protection
can be done and
is displayed under the image. If image protection
cancel, select CANCEL.
