A user can select "Recording Condition" or "Focus Setting" by
using or button. The selected item can be seen with
highlighted icon.

Scene Mode Menu
By pressing ENTER button when the [SCENE>] icon is highlighted,
the Scene mode menu is selected.
You can select one on the following options by using or button.
Automatically adjusts the focus and exposure mode
The camera automatically adjusts the focus and
exposure settings to take photographs.
Portrait mode
Optimized to reproduce soft skin tones and a slight defocusing of the
background. Most portraits look best a telephoto setting; the longer
focal length does not exaggerate facial features and the shallower
depth of field softens the background.
Selecting the Subject Modes
By selecting a preset subject mode using the ENTER button,
[SCENE>] and [FOCUS>] displayed on the LCD monitor.
