9.2 VISUAL INSPECTION
Periodically check the wear and tear on the parts subject to sliding and mashing, especially the plates where slide the dies. If
you find excessive wear and tear, replace these parts.
9.3 OIL PUMP CHECK AND CHANGE
Unscrew the oil plug (25) and check periodically (every 30 days) that the oil level should remain between the two notches,
MIN and MAX, on the dipstick control. If necessary refill the oil in the reservoir and however fully replace the hydraulic oil
every 250 hours of work with new oil grade ISO 15 .
Do not fill reservoir fully
to avoid oil overflow.
9.4 OIL BLEEDING
After a certain period of time, it is normal on all small hydraulic tools to have small oil leaks. These leaks are caused by the
adherence of a thin layer of oil on the hydraulic parts exposed to external sliding, like the pistons of the crimper and the seats of
the hydraulic couplers.
Small leaks are therefore normal and do not compromise the operation of the tool, otherwise if you notice obvious oil leaks
from the crimper or from the pumping unit is important to advise the manufacturer by the distributor because these
leacks cause an excessive oil drop in the pump reservoir and can compromise the normal operation of the tool.
