7.2 UNIT CONFIGURATIONS - OPERATION
THE PNEUMATIC SOURCE HAS NOT EXCEED 1000 KPA: THE NORMAL OPERATING PRESSURE IS FROM
500 TO 800 KPA
.
DO NOT HANDLE THE TOOL WITHOUT DIES. ALWAYS FIT THE DIES BEFORE PUTTING THE TOOL UNDER
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE.
Preliminary operations:
•
screw on the adapter ( 18 ) included a male quick coupling 1/4" GAS (not included) compatible with those mounted on
pneumatic supply of the workplace and then slip his pipe into pneumatic inlet ( 27 ) of the unit;
•
remove the rubber caps from the quick couplers and mount the crimper on the hydraulic outlet ( 20 ) of the unit by
pressing vertically on the crimper head, then screw tighten, manually, the ring nut ( 16 ) on the male coupler;
•
by the adapter ( 18 ) previously arranged, connect the hydraulic unit to a source of air supply;
•
turn the crimper in the most suitable operation for crimping; now the tool is ready to operate.
The basic configuration of the unit provides the operation by hand lever (24) with the drawer switch (23) moved to
the left toward the carter.
The pneumatic connections of the unit are push-in: to connect a hose is sufficient to fully insert it into the fitting ( a ) and to
disconnect before simply press with two fingers on the black ring and then pull the hose backwards ( b ).
