Risk of injuries due to blown-out metal chips!
Metal chips may cause eye injuries.
Wear safety goggles!
Malfunctions caused by residues!
Proper functioning is not guaranteed.
Visually check that there are no metal chips or other residues in the connections!
It is important that metal chips or other residues are blown out!
Install with suitable tools, if required.
Regarding screw connections, use a second spanner to brace against the connection
nozzle.
Do not use unsuitable tools, such as pliers.
Installation of filters:
•
Always install the filter vertically (filter cup at the bottom)
•
Comply with the installation direction
for assembly of the connections
in
accordance with the labelling on the product!
•
Install the filter devices tension-free in the piping without a wall bracket
•
Check and ensure leak-tightness!
Installation of filter cup
•
Loosen the clamping ring by anti-clockwise rotation, hold and remove the filter cup
•
Do not damage the O-ring, replace if required (oil new O-ring!)
•
Fit the filter cup and the O-ring and manually tighten by rotating the clamping ring in a
clockwise direction
•
Check and ensure leak-tightness!
Installation of the wall bracket (optional) :
•
Mount the wall bracket (mounting material not included in the scope of delivery)
•
Type 500 ERAZ and 500 ZAZ: Loosen 2 screws on the filter housing. Place the filter on
the wall bracket – with the handwheel pointing towards the wall side – and attach it
again using the screws
•
The wall bracket should only be used for mounting the filter!
LEAK CHECK
The leack check and/or pressure test according to the technical rules for oil systems (TRÖl)
and according to DWA-A 791-1 (TRwS) must be carried out:
•
before initial start-up,
•
after major changes,
•
after repairs,
•
after the system has been out of operation for more than one year.
START-UP
Start-up occurs (if available) with the handwheel on the shut-off fitting open in connection
with the system. Vent any possible gas or air inclusion in the filter cup through the system.
