3.5 Replace the 4 x M6 bolts to the cover, the valve body and into the inlet on the other
side. The complete assembly can now be re-attached to the suction tube if necessary.
3.6 When the priming valve assembly is complete it can be re-attached to the suction
tube, if required at this stage, by reversing instructions in section 1.3
– 1.7
4. Priming Valve Heat Shield
When the priming valve is removed from the pump, the heat shield can also be
removed to allow better access to the exhaust priming assembly below.
4.1 Undo the 3 x M6 screws retaining the guard to the side of the volute.
There are two screws below the guard and one at the top.
Undo the two screws below the shield.
4.2 Undo the top screw and the shield will come away from the pump.
