3.2. Installation of the Optional Footswitch
The MAXI 4000 Examination Chair has an optional footswitch that works in conjunction with the keypad located on both
sides of the chair back. To install the optional footswitch:
1. Locate the power entry module on the base of the chair
2. Unscrew the protective dust cap
3.
Insert the footswitch plug using the keyways to line up the pins. Secure by screwing the coupling ring onto the
receptacle.

Do not position the chair so that it is difficult to disconnect from the power supply.
